Emma-Charlotte Stenson, a student at Bangor University, is planning to walk 175 miles from Cardiff to Conwy to raise money for Hope House Children’s Hospices.

Emma, who is studying to become a physicians associate, will be walking with her partner Ian Roberts and they will be setting off from Cardiff on Saturday 25th March 2018.

During the 175 mile walk they will stop off in Abergavenny, Builth Wells, Newtown, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant and Bala before the final 32 mile stint, ending up in Conwy on Friday 30th March.

Emma said: “We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible for a fantastic charity -Hope House that relies on donations to provide care and support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so please if you could, give whatever you can to help them continue their fantastic work. Thank you.”

Hope House Children’s Hospices – Hope House at Oswestry and Ty Gobaith at Conwy – provide care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire and North and Mid Wales. They offer a number of services both in their hospices and in the community including respite, end-of-life care and counselling.
