In an announcement of Facebook this morning Storiel museum and art gallery said: “The current lease with Seibiant Café has recently come to an end. We’d like to take the opportunity here to say a very big thank you to Susan (Ashworth) and her staff for their important contribution to the success of Storiel as a new museum and art gallery to Gwynedd.
“Over the coming weeks, maintenance work will be carried out in the café, before we review arrangements for running the space and decide on the best way forward early in the new year with Gwynedd Council”
Seibiant, which opened at Storiel in January 2016, made the following announcement just before Christmas.
“Due to my lease at Seibiant ending at the end of this year it is with disappointment that I will not be re-opening in the New Year due to family commitments.
“I would like to thank all my loyal customers for their support since we opened in January 2016 and my staff who have supported me along the way. I hope that I will see many of you around over the forthcoming months. Thank you, Susan.”
