Detectives investigating the whereabouts of Frantisek “Frankie” Morris are keen to trace the cyclist in these images, who may have information that could help them.
Frankie,18, from Llandegfan on Anglesey, was last seen near the Vaynol Arms, Pentir at 1.12pm on Sunday 2nd May. His bike was found in undergrowth nearby.
Despite an extensive search and numerous appeals Frankie still hasn’t been found. He attended a rave at a disused quarry in Waunfawr on the Saturday night before he disappeared.
Police are now appealing for the cyclist in the photos, or if know this person, to contact them via https://mipp.police.uk/operation/60NWP19A03-PO1 which will reach the investigation team directly.
Police would also like to talk to three male cyclists seen on the bridge a short distance from the Vaynol Arms, Pentir at approximately 1.40pm on Sunday 2nd May.
Chief Inspector Owain Llewelyn said: “Since launching this direct link this week, we have received several useful reports and pieces of information, which my team are currently assessing. If there is anyone who was at the rave at the disused quarry in Waunfawr on Saturday, please use this link to contact us, anonymously if you prefer.
“I would like to emphasise the extensive resources being committed to this investigation: to date, police, partner agencies and community search teams, have completed a detailed and systematic search of an extended area surrounding Pentir.
“Over 30 officers have conducted house to house enquiries, and 21 specialists have been reviewing all available cctv footage between Pentir and Bangor.
“In addition to this, over the last few days we have deployed the force’s drone unit, as well as utilised the National Police Air Service helicopter facilities.
“We also have a team of 20 detectives dedicated to this investigation, and we continue to support Frankie’s family through our expert family liaison officers.”
