Detectives investigating the whereabouts of 18 year-old Frantisek “Frankie” Morris, from Llandegfan, Anglesey, have tonight arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and also a man and a woman on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Chief Inspector Owain Llewelyn said: “After our appeal earlier today, I can confirm we have spoken to the cyclist in the CCTV images and they are no longer part of our investigation.
“I would now like to make a further appeal to the drivers of the cars in the attached images to come forward, as they may hold vital information which will assist us with our enquiries.
“Due to the ongoing investigation, the road from Pont Felin, Pentir heading towards Waen Wen will be closed until further notice. Motorists and the public are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.”
