Everton have offered Nathan Broadhead a new contract with the club, which is believed to be a two-year deal.

The Bangor born 23 year-old, who has been with Everton since the age of 10, was in outstanding form for Everton’s under-23s last season, scoring 11 times in 18 Premier League 2 appearances and providing three assists.

Broadhead’s future at Everton appeared to be in doubt last summer, with the club reportedly ‘open to offers’ for the talented forward, however with no offers or loan move materialising, Broadhead spent last season training with the first team.

After impressing manager Carlo Ancelotti and the coaching staff he was named in Everton’s Premier League squad in February, making his Premier League debut in April, coming off the bench against Brighton and Hove Albion and was included in seven other matchday squads last season.

Should Broadhead agree to the new deal he will join the first team squad for pre-season, it remains unclear if he would become a permanent member of the first-team set-up or be sent out on loan next term.
