Getting a tattoo can be daunting, knowing it’ll be on your body forever, but one Bangor University student was so impressed with her visit to the city she decided on a lasting memory.
The fresher student who came over from Australia to study in Bangor, impulsively decided she wanted Bangor tattooed somewhere unique, so she chose on the inside of her lip!
Her friends at the time didn’t think for one minute she would go through with the idea, but following her trip to a local tattoo studio, her friend Tweeted: “I cannot believe we called eyebrows on a fresher who said she’d get a tattoo of the word BANGOR on her bottom lip…AND SHE DID IT.”
Another former Bangor student replied: “The old boys (who enjoy an annual reunion in Bangor) would like to see a pic just make sure you’re not having us on.”
In response the picture was posted on Twitter with the message: “Our fresher from down under with her Bangor tattoo.”
We’ve all become accustomed to some memorable and embarrassing drunken stories from Fresher’s week, but this impulsive tattoo will definitely make a lasting and memorable impression.
