Police are appealing for information following a fail to stop collision in Bangor last night, Monday, December 11th.
Officers were called to Glynne Road at 19:44 to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian however the vehicle had left the scene.
An ambulance was called and the pedestrian was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with serious injuries. She remains in hospital at this time however her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Enquiries are underway including looking at CCTV images however officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Raymond Williams of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for anybody who may have been in the area of Glynne Road and the High Street around the time of the collision to contact us.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and anybody who may have seen the vehicle, which is believed to be a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Ford Mondeo or similar, is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
