Queer stars a transformative Daniel Craig, who flourishes after his time in the tuxedo and drinking martinis. He plays Lee, who recounts his life in Mexico City among expatriate American students. Queer is a very poignant experience that channels a lot of emotions. It explores loneliness and that search for longing in the most abstract and dreamlike way. Guadagnino pays tribute to Burroughs’s work and life and one of Daniel Craig’s most memorable performances
