Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian — albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Join us for an evening of short film production work from first, second and final-year undergraduate students from the School of Arts, Culture and Languages. The films being screened are a selection of documentaries, fiction filmmaking and creative practice research, all completed whilst studying modules across Film, Journalism and Media between September and June 2023. This premiere showcase of films aims to celebrate the future faces of the film, television and creative industries.

Nikki, an actress, takes on a role in a new film, and because her husband is very jealous, her co-star Devon gets a warning not to make any romantic overtures — especially since the characters they play are having an affair. Both actors learn that the project is a remake of an unfinished film in which the stars were murdered.

It’s Christmas in Caerheli and everyone is spending money as if there was no tomorrow. But when the mayor comes to switch on the Christmas lights they also reveal the darkest corners of the streets where we get to see a young boy begging for money with his little dog, Smwt, by his side. But the shoppers are far too busy to notice that someone is starving in the shadows.Will someone come ti save Smwt? Will he have company to flee to the woods. And the most important question of all, ar the woods a safe place for animals to find shelter these days? Will the forest still be there when they arrivee? Come and see for yourselves.
A colourful, brand new musical for all the family by Cefin Roberts, Steven Evans and Sioned Webb, based on the feedback from the pupils about polution and global warming.

Vertical Dance Kate Lawrence and Pontio presents Lunch on the Fly
Monday 10 July
This is a fun session in which you can have a go at vertical dance. Starting with an easy warm up, you will then try to stand on and jump off a vertical floor using waist harnesses. You will be guided through some simple positions, and then you will fly!
Wear comfortable clothing with snug layers around waist and top of legs.
Age: 16+
Limited capacity – space for 12 people only.
