Bangor KFC are still running a limited menu more than two months after a chicken shortage forced most of the KFC’s in the UK to close. Some outlets are still without filet burgers, corn on the cob and gravy and are only offering limited choices of drink

In February KFC switched its delivery contract to DHL, which blamed “operational issues” for the supply disruption which left hundreds of the fried-chicken restaurants without any chicken.

KFC now claims that most of its outlets are running as normal, but Bangor is still serving a limited menu.

A KFC spokesperson said: “Following the distribution challenges DHL experienced, disruption to some of our restaurants is unfortunately continuing, including some limited menus.

“We know this is causing frustration for our customers, so we’re really grateful for their patience while we get it sorted.

“The good news is that we’re making great progress thanks to the hard work of all our teams, who’ve shown amazing commitment, and we’re aiming be back to normal soon”.
