Bangor University’s Natural History collections at the Brambell Building, on Deiniol Road, will be open to the public on Saturday, 14 April 2018, between 11am and 3pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit the University’s Natural History Museum, which is not usually open to the public, to learn more about the animals on display. There will be a chance to ask questions to the volunteers and there will be an activities corner for children of all ages.
This is a free event which has been organised jointly with the University’s Herpetological Society and there will be an opportunity to see and handle snakes and other live animals on the day.
The event is intended to improve access to Bangor University’s hidden museum collections and this is part of Storiel’s work in partnership with Bangor University. The event will offer local residents and visitors a chance to enjoy and learn about the vast variety of specimens at the university.
The Brambell building is located on Deiniol Road, opposite the Asda supermarket in Bangor
