The Festival of Discovery, inspired by space, science and nature, will be held at The Showground, Anglesey, on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May 2020; creating one big holiday festival.

Expect two full days of fun at one of the best festivals in North Wales, made just for kids. The festival has 6 themed areas to explore and it’s jam packed full of activities over two days in May School holiday, located on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Whether your children are sporty, creative, practical, academic or you are seasoned festival-goers, this Festival of Discovery is purely designed for families and created to make great memories. It is jam packed with activities to do from the moment you arrive.

Choose from dance and music workshops, events with food, paddle boarding, science, circus skills… you name it, it’s all at the festival. The setting is beautiful with free parking.

Kids and adults alike can learn about the Galaxy in the Space observatory, experiment in the Science tent, break dance in the silent disco, climb aboard the aeroplane in the power park, and cook up a right old mess in the cookery workshops.

It’s a place to become a Scientist just for a day, and get involved with over 50 extraordinary science exhibits.

Join in with crazy science demonstrations and exhibits, explore your senses, find out how things move in space! There is something on every hour over the 2 day festival, we have a jam packed programme of entertainment.
