A new initiative, which allows parents and carers to watch films with their babies in an informal and relaxed setting, has been launched at Pontio in Bangor.
‘Pictwrs a Pram’ offers a unique experience for parents/carers with babies under 12 months old. It’s a chance to see the latest films on the big screen in a safe and non-judgmental environment, with reduced volume and increased lighting. There are limited number of tickets available and so there will be plenty of room in the Cinema.
Screenings are free of charge for babies, and adults pay £5. ‘Pictiwrs a Pram’ screenings are for parents/carers and their baby but if you have an older child with you and the certificate is U, PG or 12A, they can also attend (no ticket required for children under 2). Prams can be kept in the cinema. If your baby needs to eat or needs any other attention that’s fine too, you can feel comfortable doing so while watching the latest titles.
The first ‘Pictiwrs a Pram’ screening will be the new Beetlejucie Beetlejucie (12A) movie on Thursday 19th September at 10.30am, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River after an unexpected family tragedy.
