Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a woman was assaulted by the same man on two separate occasions in Gwynedd and Conwy.
The first occurrence took place at around 9pm on Thursday 14th October, known locally as the Bus Stop, A5, at the bottom of Maesgeirchen Hill in Bangor.
The second occurrence took place sometime between 12-2pm on Friday 15th October, whilst travelling on the number 12 bus along the A548 Coast Road at Towyn, Conwy.
The woman is being supported by officers as detectives continue their investigation.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Davies said: “Following the first incident, we have been informed that a woman intervened and provided help and support to the woman who had been assaulted. This person is key to this investigation and I’m appealing to her to come forward to speak with officers. If you know who she is, please ask her to contact us.
“In respect of the second incident the woman was travelling on the number 12 bus through Towyn, Conwy, when she was assaulted by a man. I’m appealing to anyone who was travelling on the number 12 bus route at this time and may have witnessed anything to contact police”.
