The husband of a breast cancer survivor has helped raise over £800 to thank the team at Ysbyty Gwynedd who cared for his wife.
Helen Owen, 57, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 by the team in Ysbyty Gwynedd and following treatment, thankfully received the all clear in July 2022.
To thank the hospital team who treated her, her husband Dafydd, along with his dog Moi, decided to climb Snowdon 52 times, which he did every week throughout the year, in any weather.
Helen said: “We just wanted to thank the team for everything they did – I’ve had amazing care throughout.
“We would also like to thank D W Evans Builders for their contribution of £310.00 in memory of their father, Meirion Evans to bring the total raised to over £800.”
