High-street fashion chain Select will close its store in Bangor next month.
The store gave notice of the closure this afternoon and is expected to close its doors on 9 May. The chain also has stores in Rhyl and Wrexham.
Select, which specialises in women’s clothing and accessories, has been in Bangor for a number of years, however, its time in the city looks to be coming to an end.
Signs have been placed in the shop windows which read “This store is closing down.
“Please visit your nearest store or shop online at www.selectfashion.co.uk.
“Subject to landlord negotiations.”
The closure is yet another body blow to Bangor High Street, following number of high-profile closures during lockdown, including Debenhams, Bodyshop, Topshop, H&M and Peacocks.
