Llangefni will be hosting a Food Festival on Saturday, 28 October, and the organisers say it will be their biggest event to date.

Gŵyl Fwyd Llangefni will be showcasing the best local produce, national and international street food as well as local craft stalls.

With over 60 stalls and an outstanding array of different food on offer, come and enjoy a range of mouth-watering food from all over the world, produced and sold by people who really care about their food! The festival promises to be foodie heaven, with something for everyone.

In addition to the large variety of food stalls there will also be stalls selling locally produced beers, ciders and spirits.

Event organiser Emyr Owen, from Tatws Trading, said: “I’ll be pulling out all the stops to make this a great event, we have a great variety of food producers including local, national and international stalls.

“We enjoyed a very successful event in the summer, despite the poor weather on the day, there was a great turnout. Everyone enjoyed the day and it was great to see an increase in footfall in Llangefni itself. It wasn’t just the stall holders who enjoyed the benefit, many local traders also benefitted, the whole town was buzzing, I’ve received nothing but positive feedback.

“Many of the traders from the previous event will be returning and in addition to the food stalls we will have local craft stalls for everyone to enjoy.”

The Food Festival starts at 9.00am through until 5pm on Saturday 28 October, and is Free to attend.
