Emergency services attended huge fire at ‘Blenheim House’ on Station Road in Bangor last night, Monday 5 December.
The building, which is located next to Bangor railway station, has been vacant for a number of years was most recently the ‘Period Interiors’ bathroom showroom.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue said: “We received a call to a building fire on Station Road in Bangor at 20:54.
“We have three pumps and an Ariel ladder in attendance. Two pumps from Bangor, One from Menai Bridge and the Ariel ladder from Bangor.”
North Wales Fire and Rescue have confirmed this morning that the fire was started deliberately.
A section of Holyhead Road, between the station and Morrisons was closed last night while emergency services were at the scene. The road has now reopened.
