Gwaith Gwynedd are a service offering one to one support for the residents of Gwynedd who are aged 16+ who need help into employment.

Working alongside Cyngor Gwynedd, to help fill various job vacancies and apprenticeships within the Council, where roles range from social care to education, and from admin to transport.

 

 

By working together with other agencies such as Careers Wales, Coleg Llandrillo-Cymru, Department of Works and Pensions and local employers, Gwaith Gwynedd aim to help fill employment and training vacancies with suitable candidates who are currently unemployed, facing redundancy or returning to work from caring for children and family members.

Support into work

  • Gwaith Gwynedd is here to help you or someone you know of who is:
  • lives in poverty or
  • in danger of living in poverty and
  • wants help finding work or progressing in your career.

Gwaith Gwynedd also offers:

  • friendly advice
  • one to one support
  • mentor to help develop individual’s skills
  • find training, voluntary work or a job

Support is also available by tacking individual’s obstructions, whether mental health or wellbeing, housing or just guiding someone towards their first steps with various support from creating/updating a cv, interview skills, training etc
