Have a tree planted for you
Don’t worry if you don’t have space to plant your own tree, you can still take part.
The Woodland Trust have partnered with Welsh landowners to provide space to plant trees on their land on your behalf. All these native trees will contribute to the National Forest for Wales.
55,000 trees have been allocated to plant on behalf of people who don’t have their own green space, and trees will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Have a tree posted to you
If you are unable to get to a hub but would like a tree for your garden, a tree can be posted out to you.
Post a tree – how it works
There are 40,000 postal trees available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can apply for your tree using an online form (more details here).
You will receive two trees, arriving in the post between January and the end of March 2023. We’ll send you an email when they’re on their way. You won’t be able to choose the species, but we’ll send trees that are suitable for gardens.
Once received, get your tree in the ground as soon as possible. If you need to store for a short space of time, ensure the trees are in a cool place and keep roots moist. To give them the best start, follow our planting and care guide.
