The Met Office have forecast a dry and sunny weekend, warming up quickly after a chilly start on Friday, with sunshine and temperatures up to 20°C on Saturday, just in time for the Royal Wedding and FA Cup final.

High pressure is bringing dry and fine weather in most places across the country with temperatures above average for the time of year.

The weather looks settled and the following bank holiday weekend could see more warm and sunny weather, with many hoping for a repeat of the early May bank holiday weekend record-breaking temperatures.
