This is a relaxed screening which is open to everyone but specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment. The audience can come and go as they please, we’ll keep the lights on low and turn the volume down slightly.

Culhwch loves Olwen even though he has never seen her. Olwen has never heard of Culhwch either and so she has no idea that Culhwch wants to marry her.

But Olwen’s father, the angry giant Ysbyddaden Boncyrs doesn’t want Olwen to ever get married no matter what. But Culhwch doesn’t know that and he begins his journey to find the girl of his dreams.

In order to win Olwen, Mr. Boncyrs says that Culwch has to do a few small tasks like fight a dragon, steal the comb of the Twrch Trwyth and worst of all do the clog dance in his pants!

What could possibly go wrong?!

Culhwch ac Olwen is a family show but has been specially developed for children in Years 1 to 7.
