North Wales Police have appealed for information following a vehicle fire in a car park on Beach Road, Bangor, on Saturday 21 September.

 

The fire destroyed a motorhome and car and a number of other vehicles were damaged in the incident, which occurred at 10.30pm.

Firefighters from Bangor and Llanfairfechan attended to the fire and crews used four breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire, which took four hours to bring under control.

A statement from North Wales Police read: “Were you in the Beach Road area of Bangor between 10.20pm and 11pm on Saturday 21/9?

“See anything suspicious or a van on fire in the car park, which damaged a number of other vehicles.

“If you know anything or have CCTV overlooking the car park call 101 ref 19100545978.”

There are no reports of any injuries resulting from the incident.
