Bangor Musical Theatre Society presents Curtains

BMTS proudly presents their performance of the musical comedy whodunnit, Curtains! Set in 1959, the story follows a theatrical company who are trying to take their Robin Hood western spoof musical to Broadway. However, on their opening night, their leading lady, the has-been actress Jessica Cranshaw drops down dead. While the cast frantically try to rework their show, Detective Frank Cioffi appears on the scene and locks down the theatre, declaring that Jessica’s death was no accident and that the only possible conclusion, is that someone in the theatre is responsible for her murder. As secrets and lies are revealed, can Cioffi solve the mystery of Jessica’s murder before any more bodies drop? And more importantly, can the cast save their show in time to take it to Broadway? From tunes that tug on your heartstrings to jokes that make you laugh out loud, there really is something for everyone. So come on down and get lost in the romance, mystery, and comedy of Curtains!

National Dance Company Wales – Dance for Parkinson’s
Tuesdays, 1.30pm – 3pm
NDCWales is excited to launch new Dance for Parkinson’s classes in Bangor!
Dance for Parkinson’s classes are fun and informal.
Dance has been proven to develop confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of symptoms in everyday life. Classes are creative and promote feelings of freedom from the physical and social constraints of having Parkinson’s.
We are an Affiliated hub of English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme.
Classes are 90 minutes long, and all you’ll need is a chair.
English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme has been running since 2008. We are proud to be part of the Dance for PD membership, to support Dance for Parkinson’s Partnership and People Dancing and to have an affiliation with Parkinson’s UK. ENB’s national Dance for Parkinson’s programme enjoys close links with Parkinson’s UK and the European Parkinson’s Disease Association EPDA.
