Confronted with death, Aneurin ‘Nye’ Bevan’s deepest memories lead him on a mind-bending journey back through his life; from childhood to mining underground, Parliament and fights with Churchill. Written by Tim Price and directed by Rufus Norris (Small Island), this epic new Welsh fantasia will be broadcast live from the National Theatre.

Lots of people get them; thumping heart, wobbly knees, swirly tummy. And sometimes they make you feel alone. So, what can a child with a bad case of the dragons do? A delightful tale of one child’s journey to come to terms with their dragons told in Taking Flight’s unique inclusive style. With live, original music, this highly visual, sensitive production is a humorous and touching exploration of the dragons we all face.

An inter-generational show, featuring creative captioning, interwoven BSL and audio description, You’ve Got Dragons is a treat for the whole family. And remember… “No dragon is more powerful than YOU!

NDC Wales is excited to launch new Dance for Parkinson’s classes in Bangor!

No experience necessary

Dance for Parkinson’s classes are fun and informal.

Dance has been proven to develop confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of symptoms in everyday life. Classes are creative and promote feelings of freedom from the physical and social constraints of having Parkinson’s.

We are an Affiliated hub of English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme.

Classes are 90 minutes long, and all you’ll need is a chair.

English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme has been running since 2008. We are proud to be part of the Dance for PD membership, to support Dance for Parkinson’s Partnership and People Dancing and to have an affiliation with Parkinson’s UK. ENB’s national Dance for Parkinson’s programme enjoys close links with Parkinson’s UK and the European Parkinson’s Disease Association EPDA.
