A Wellbeing Festival will be held at St Gerard’s School in Bangor on Saturday, 12 March 2022.
The purpose of the event is give individuals the opportunity to engage in wellbeing activities in response to Covid and winter pressures.
There are a series of 13 wellbeing events taking place between 10am and 3pm. The events include bush craft, martial arts, walking football, Arts for wellbeing, emotional freedom techniques, reflexology and Yoga. All of the sessions are free and the event is open to all adults over the age of 18.
Individuals have the option of booking between 1 and 5 sessions via Eventbrite. There are a range of fitness, personal development, creative, mindful, outdoor and indoor activities to choose from.
The event will take place at Saint Gerard’s School, Bangor between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 12th March. Access if free to all adults although booking is essential.
Funded by Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board and hosted by Canolfan Abbey Road, the purpose of the event is to offer individuals the chance to engage a range of bespoke and holistic wellbeing activities as we emerge from winter and the pressures of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sylvette Jones, from TEC Wales and Jackie Bailey from BEE You! Personal Development Ltd are facilitating the event in partnership with Canolfan Abbey Road. Sylvette and Jackie specialise in planning and facilitating bespoke and innovative wellbeing events for children, young people and adults throughout north and mid Wales.
Sylvette explained that “We are delighted to be part of this event. It is a fantastic opportunity for people to try out activities to support and enhance their wellbeing.”
“There are a range of fitness, personal development, creative, mindful, outdoor and indoor activities to choose from.
“Sessions will be delivered by practitioners with extensive experience of delivering wellbeing sessions. Each session is an hour long and participants can attend up to five sessions throughout the day. Access if free to all.
