The Met Office have warned that ice and then snow will bring some travel disruption North Wales on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning and then snow from Thursday afternoon through to late Friday.
The warning states that ice will persist on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, with a risk of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
Tonight:
Isolated wintry showers may continue near coasts, but elsewhere it will be dry and very cold under often clear skies. Some icy stretches will develop and possibly patchy freezing fog. Temperatures could fall as low as -9 °C.
Thursday:
Cold with freezing fog lifting slowly Thursday morning, but becoming cloudy and increasingly windy. Outbreaks of sleet and possibly some disruptive snow spread from the south in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cold on Friday with outbreaks of sleet and snow clearing to leave a dry afternoon. Largely dry and cold Saturday. Overnight frosts. Rain spreading from the west late on Sunday.
