Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd are delighted to welcome Reverend Wynne Roberts BEM, the Welsh Elvis back on their hospital radio station, with his first show starting on the 3rd November 2020 between 8-9pm on The Happy Hour.

Reverend Wynne Roberts BEM, who is also Ysbyty Gwynedd’s Chaplain, has been shielding and working from home since the outbreak. His new show on Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd will enable him to connect again with Ysbyty Gwynedd patients safely from home.

Wynne commented ‘I’m extremely happy to be back on Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd and I’m really looking forward to being able to offer comfort to the patients and connect with them again’.

Wynne’s show will be broadcasted live on Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd every other Tuesday between 8-9pm. Patients can listen by the bedside and friends, families and our communities can listen online on www.radioysbytygwynedd.com

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd are keeping patients company during this difficult time. Presenters of the Radio Station are broadcasting ‘The Happy Hour’ shows every night 8-9pm to help families and friends get their messages of love and support to those receiving NHS care.

The Hospital Radio Station, which has been serving the local community for over 40 years, is staffed entirely by volunteers and brings music, information, requests and messages from friends and relatives direct to patients’ bedside.

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd’s Chairman Kevin Williams commented “We are all going through a very uncertain time at the moment and we want to ensure patients and their family and friends that we’re here for them.
