The Friends of Bangor Garth Pier are offering the perfect Christmas gift – a chance to sponsor a light on the pier and dedicate it to a loved one or group of people whilst supporting a wonderful local landmark.
For £10 you will be able to sponsor a light on the pier and see your personalised message appear on The Friends of Bangor Barth Pier (FBGP) website – sharing the love far and wide.
All dedications will be listed in random order and will remain on the website for the Christmas period. All proceeds support the work of the FBGP to ensure a sustainable future for the pier.
This is a great opportunity to share some Christmas joy with your nearest and dearest or perhaps you could sponsor a light this Christmas to remember a loved one who loved the pier or maybe they loved Christmas.
To sponsor a light please collect and complete the form available at the Bangor Garth Pier Entrance Kiosk with your payment of £10 (cash or card payment accepted).
Avril Wayte Chair of Friends of Bangor Garth Pier said, “We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to sponsor a light on the pier this year. Whether you sponsor a light to celebrate, commemorate, show thanks, remember a loved one or to wish someone a special Christmas, please come and join us for the official switching on of the lights on Sunday 26th November at 5pm after a Christmas Concert starting 3pm. We will look forward to seeing everyone there.”
