A charity music fundraiser will be held in the Skerries pub on Saturday, 25 November, raising money and food supplies for Bangor cathedral foodbank.

Event organiser Cal Tasker said: “After the success of the previous charity music events this year I’m happy to announce were busy organizing one in the Skerries!

“This time we’ll be raising much needed funds for the local cathedral foodbank! This is the time of year they need the support more than ever and it is a vital service that sadly more and more of us are coming to rely on in this ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

“The brilliant and much-loved Red or Dead will be headlining and there’ll be sets from some other great local bands including the Blue Dahlias, Highway 88 and the recently formed 21 guns!

“In total we’ll have 5 awesome bands alongside some individual performances and a DJ to wrap the night off! There’ll also be a raffle with some great prizes supplied by the business of Bangor.

“This will be kept as a free event but a £2/3 pound voluntary donation will be asked for. There’ll be donation buckets and QR codes that link to my just giving page.

“It will be a great night filled with lovely vibes and great music.”
