Nine days of events are being held all over the city of Bangor to celebrate St David’s Day – starting with the procession from Storiel to the clock, through the Local Market and into the Cathedral on Friday, 25 February.
There will be a stall in the Market with a ‘Where are the Llanau?’ competition for a chance to win tickets to go to a show in Pontio.
There is a Hope Walk every day in Penrhyn Castle until 5 March.
On Saturday, 26 February, the Parkrun is celebrating Welshness, so wear your Welshest outfit!
Also on Saturday, 26 February, there is a Historical tour in Hirael and Porth Penrhyn and on the Sunday a Choral Eucharist in the Cathedral.
A film on Do the little things from Gwion Aled will be held in Pontio on Monday, 28 February.
On Tuesday, 1 March, there will be planting at Plas Dylan, in Maesgeirchen with Adra and Dancing for Parkinson’s in Pontio’s Studio.
There is bilingual Holy Eucharist with the imposition of the Ashes in the Cathedral on Wednesday, 2 March.
In the evening on Wednesday, 2 March there is a quiz to celebrate in Bwyd Da Bangor that is suitable for learners as well as fluent Welsh speakers.
On the last Friday (4 March) Caffi Babis are having a theme – To do the little things.
Menter Iaith Bangor are also back in the Market on Friday, 4 March with information about learning Welsh, why not go along if you want to discuss how best to learn Welsh.
To finish the week there is an Art Workshop with Elen Williams and a History walk along the Pier.
