Searches have been undertaken to help find a man who has been reported as missing from Bangor.

 

 

The man, who is aged in his 60’s and from the Bangor area, was reported as missing during the early hours of this morning (Monday, 27th December) after his vehicle was found on the Britannia Bridge.

Chief Inspector Llinos Davies said: “The searches have involved the Coastguard, RNLI and police officers in and around the Britannia Bridge area and the Menai Strait.

 “CCTV is being monitored including Traffic Wales cameras, however we are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling along the A55 Britannia Bridge at around 4am this morning to contact us.”
