A planning application has been submitted to sub-divide the former New Look store in Bangor into smaller retail units.
According to the planning application, the retail space has been advertised to let and there has been zero interest from anyone wanting to rent this size space since it became vacant a year ago. The landlord now plans to convert the space into nine smaller retail units.
The space is designated as retail and it will remain as retail but partitions are to be erected so that the space can be let to multiple retailers who require smaller amount of space.
No changes to the outside are planned – and the use will remain the same (retail). But the space will be split so that smaller tenants can rent the spaces.
The planning application will be decided in due course.
