Plans have been approved for a Takeaway at the former Castle Bakery shop at 293 High Street Bangor, despite objections from Bangor City Council.
The application allows a change of use at the former shop to be used as a hot food takeaway premises, which will include the installation of an extractor system on the rear of the property.
Objection
Bangor City Council had objected to the plans on the basis that the takeaway would “Cause significant harm to the amenities of the area and neighbouring properties would suffer air and noise pollution by way of the effect of noise and smell and that refuse arrangements are not considered adequate.”
Opening Hours
It is proposed that the new Takeaway will not open any later than 8pm, opening Monday – Saturday 11am – 8pm and 3pm – 8pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
