North Wales Police achieved another notable success in their pursuit of those attempting to bring controlled drugs into the Gwynedd and Anglesey areas, when ‘Operation Rattle’ officers arrested four people and seized a large quantity of controlled drugs and cash during searches in the Bangor area yesterday morning.
On Tuesday 27th March and as part of the intelligence led operation, officers executed a misuse of drugs act search warrant in Ambrose Street, Bangor, seized a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs and cash and arrested four people from outside the north Wales area on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A Drugs and money laundering. All remain in custody being interviewed.
Det Sergeant Andy Davies at Caernarfon Police Station said “Our commitment to rid our communities of those who possess and supply controlled drugs is our priority in line with ‘Operation Scorpion’ is directly targeting serious and organised crime.
“Yesterday’s action under Operation Rattle is a continuation of that process and we are determined to keep our communities safe. It is vitally important we listen to concerns and where necessary take proportionate action. You say – We do. There is No Hiding Place.”
