Meet Dennis, the crow living in Maesgeirchen, Bangor, who thinks he’s human!

While most crows are busy eating insects and worms, Dennis is visiting the post office for a Red Bull, going to the Chippy or eating Monster Munch crisps.

Crows usually have a natural distrust of humans, but Dennis is everyone’s best mate. He likes nothing more than Moidering the locals and is often seen hopping along, following people down the road.

Dennis is a regular visitor to people’s gardens and is often seen waiting on windowsills for a ‘Moider’ – He’e even been spotted enjoying himself in a swimming pool.

Experts believe that crows are very intelligent and have an uncanny memory for human faces—and can remember if that particular person is a threat. They seem to have a good sense that every person is different and that they need to approach them differently. Experts say to befriend crows, you must create an environment where they will not only feel safe but comfortable visiting, well Dennis certainly feels comfortable in his new surroundings.

Dennis is often seen hopping onto someone’s arm or perched on someone’s shoulder, he’s so popular he’s now definitely one of the community.
