Maes-G ShowZone, a vibrant and inclusive performing arts group based in Maesgeirchen, Bangor, is thrilled to announce the release of its highly anticipated latest music single, a cover of “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2. After three months of hard work, dedication, and incredible talent, the children of ShowZone are ready to share their voices with the world in a way that uplifts and inspires.
Tonight, Wednesday, December 11th, the journey culminates with two special events:
- The YouTube premier of the single’s music video at 7 pm, showcasing the children’s talent alongside stunning footage filmed on location at the iconic Penrhyn Castle.
- A live Facebook performance at 7.15 pm, where members will perform songs they’ve been perfecting for months, including tracks prepared for the recently cancelled Bangor Pier Christmas Concert.
ShowZone: A Place Where Everyone Belongs
Maes-G ShowZone was born during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing children aged 7–18 with a creative and emotional outlet at a time when it was needed most. ShowZone is more than a performing arts group—it’s a lifeline for young people who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities.
Committed to inclusion, ShowZone welcomes children from all walks of life, including those who are neurodiverse or living with physical disabilities. It’s a space where every child is valued, encouraged, and given the tools to shine.
Members benefit from unique opportunities, on this project for example they worked with professional sound technician Sam Durant of Stiwdio Un in Rachub, and experiencing firsthand the creative process of recording and filming. Through projects like these, ShowZone equips children with confidence, resilience, and life skills that extend far beyond the stage.

ShowZone’s success is powered by passionate volunteers and the generosity of local supporters. However, as the group grows, so does the need for funding to provide essentials like costumes, equipment, and professional opportunities for the children.
