Importantly all funds raised is spent locally by continuing to support the needs of Ysbyty Gwynedd.
The charity recently celebrated their 50th Birthday and the fundraising continues to go from strength to strength. Their last event was a Fashion Show and High Tea held at James Pringles Weavers, Llanfair PG on the 26th September which has raised a fantastic sum of £1885.05 to date.
“We had a wonderful night celebrating our birthday and I wish to say a big thank you to Jean Pierce and Magaret Owen and all our volunteers for arranging such a successful event. The management and staff at James Pringles Weavers couldn’t do enough for us and a truly wonderful evening was had by all” said Joe Hughes, Chairman of Ysbyty Gwynedd League of Friends.
“May I also extend my gratitude to everyone who took part in the fashion show on the catwalk, kind donations received for our raffle and for local support by all that joined us on the night”, he added.
The next event on Friday 25th October is a Flower Arranging Demonstration with Dawn Weaver, multiple Gold Medal Winner at Chelsea Flower Show. Held at the Post- Graduate Centre, Ysbyty Gwynedd starting at 7pm and includes light refreshments. Tickets available on the door and a warm welcome to all.
