Food lovers are being invited to Llangefni this September as the town’s popular Food Festival returns for another celebration of local produce, independent businesses and community spirit.

Llangefni Food Festival will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2026, from 9 am until 4 pm at the Town Hall car park in Bulkeley Square.

Hosted by Llangefni Market and The Farmers Table, Ynys Môn, the festival will bring together an exciting selection of food and drink producers, street-food vendors and market traders from across North Wales.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drink, discover locally produced goods and meet the people behind some of the region’s fantastic independent businesses.

The popular Craft Fair will also return and will be held inside Llangefni Town Hall, where visitors can browse a variety of handmade gifts, crafts and other locally created products.

Event organiser Paul Wylie took over the management of Llangefni Market in July 2025, alongside the markets in Holyhead and Amlwch.

Paul said: “Since taking over Llangefni Market in 2025, it has been a privilege to become part of the local community. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me so warmly and continued to support the market and our festivals.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming another great line-up of food and drink producers to Llangefni and celebrating the very best of North Wales.

“Events like this are all about supporting local businesses, bringing people together and showcasing the quality and passion of our local producers.

“We’re also delighted that the Craft Fair will be returning inside the Town Hall, so there will be plenty of wonderful handmade gifts, crafts and local creations for visitors to browse and enjoy.”

Whether visitors are looking for something tasty to eat, locally produced food and drink to take home or a unique handmade gift, there will be plenty to discover throughout the day.

The festival is free to attend.
