The Met Office have warned that heavy rain and thunderstorms will affect most of Wales overnight and into Sunday.

Despite a fine end to the day, with some warm sunshine in places, the heavy rain showers and thunderstorms will push up from South Wales to the North later this evening and will continue to move north overnight.


After a cloudy and murky start in places, it will be mostly dry with sunny spells. Feeling very warm and humid, with the risk of scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms. Maximum temperature 26 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Bank Holiday Monday will be mostly dry with warm sunshine, but a chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms. Further scattered showers and thunderstorms moving north Tuesday into Wednesday. Humid.
