Gwynedd Council  is taking part in the UK Refugee Resettlement Programme and they are appealing for properties in the Bangor area.

Families have resettled in Gwynedd under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme, but the council are still looking for affordable accommodation for refugees for the UK Refugee Resettlement Programme.

The UK’s resettlement schemes offer a safe and legal route to the UK for the most vulnerable refugees, and purposefully target those in greatest need of assistance, including people requiring urgent medical treatment, survivors of violence and torture, and women and children at risk.
