Dimensions Health Store in upper Bangor have added a zero waste food zone, cutting back on packaging and encouraging sustainable shopping.

You can now bring your own jars & tubs when you shop or use Dimensions own paper bags for porridge oats, muesli, basmati rice, short grain brown rice, chickpeas, red lentils, sunflower seeds, & pumpkin seeds.


Every bit counts & added to the bottle refills that Dimensions have offered for years, the loose fresh organic & local veg and Suma’s 20% reduced plastic and recyclable packaging, the health food store are continuing to address the issue of reducing plastic and packaging.

A spokesperson for Dimensions said: “Thanks to all our customers for your continued support and encouragement to get our Zero waste area off the ground.

“For the last 30 years Dimensions have been pioneers of sustainable and ecological products, and we are very excited to be able to offer an area where you can bring your own containers to save wastage.”
