A competition has been launched to rename a popular Bangor pub, which plans to reopen as a pub combined with a fish and chip shop.
The Tap and Spile is having a make over and will be reopening as a pub and fish and chip shop in one very soon.
In a Facebook post the pub has asked for comments and ideas for a new name and the chance to win a free portion of fish and chips every week for an entire year.
If you win, you will be given 52 vouchers for fish and chips to use at your pleasure for a year after the re-opening.
Entries will close at midnight on the 27 August – when the doors to the Tap and Spile close for the final time.
