Fast food fans will be rejoicing as Burger King UK has announced that it will be re-opening in Bangor, making the city Home of the Whopper once again.
The fast-food giant saw its outlet in the city centre close back in 2020. The site closed when the franchisee went into administration and a number of workers made redundant.
The restaurant re-opening will create 20 jobs for the local area, and applications are now open for managerial roles and crew members.
What’s more, the restaurant, located at the Menai Centre, Bangor, will bring 20 new jobs to the local area, with recruitment for legendary team members to join the Burger King family now open.
5 managerial roles are being created for the restaurant, with 2 currently accepting applications: Assistant Manager and Shift Manager.
Burger King UK is also currently recruiting 15 restaurant Crew Members, spanning both front of house and kitchen roles.
Those who are successful in joining the team will enjoy a variety of staff perks; from flexible hours and free meals at work, to 50% off food and drink for friends and family, sharing the unmatched taste of Burger King® with those they love.
Jeremy Wright, People Director of Burger King® UK, said: “During what has been a very challenging few years for many businesses, we are delighted to be creating new job and career opportunities in the area, and look forward to welcoming 20 new starters into the Burger King family, at our BANGOR restaurant.
“We continue to be bold and ambitious in our growth plans across both locations and job opportunities.”
