Residents in Bangor enjoyed an extra special visit from Santa on Thursday 23rd December, thanks to Santa’s Bangor Bike Belles’ visit to the city.
Santa Bike Belles was organised by Grŵp Cymunedol Bangor Community Group following a successful inaugural event last year, which was a huge success and brought many smiles to faces across Bangor, this year Santa invited his Elf to join him on his travels.
Natalie Robb Chair of Bangor Community Group said: “Santa is all about the magic for the children and parents and seeing the smiles and excitement on everyone’s faces makes the magic of Christmas so much stronger.”
Santa was supported by PC Lisa Thomas from North Wales Police, who accompanied Santa and his elf around the streets of Bangor to visit all the children.
PC 214 Lisa Thomas commented: “It was another great evening, the streets were lined with children, families gathered in their gardens and waved from their windows .
“I would also like to thank Natalie Robb for all her hard work in preparing this fantastic event the amount she does for our city is immense and to Dewi Owen and Lorraine Dyason who also supported the event.
“It is fantastic to see our Bangor community joining in the fun the support we received was terrific.
“We’re already looking forward to Santa’s visit next year!”
