Mobility is important especially as we get older, riding an e-Bike is a low intensity exercise that allows you go at your desired speed.

Understanding the benefits…

  • Improve fitness
  • Improves heart rate
  • Improves mental health and wellbeing
  • Assisted battery powered pedal assist
  • No impact on your knees
  • Go out with friends and enjoy a great day out

Here are some of the questions you might have…

  • I’ll struggle going up hills

This is where the booster or turbo button takes you up hill with ease.

  • Holding up traffic

It’s possible on cycle tracks to travel for miles without any fear of traffic. You might have to cross a road to get onto another cycle track, but that’s the only time you need to see any traffic.

  • An e-bike is too fast

It is possible to reach a fast speed downhill like on any bike. The idea of an E Bike is to allow a person to cycle with the cycle assist at a reasonable speed and that’s all.

  • Battery power will run out

There is an LED indicator screen to show how much battery you have left. This allows you to gauge your journey. You can also switch the power of and cycle without the assist on flat areas. Which is good for your overall fitness.

With relaxed pedalling expect 25-50 miles on a single charge for most e-bikes. In some cases you’ll go even further.  Range will also be impacted by the battery capacity, the hills, wind and your size.

  • An e-Bike is too heavy

An e-Bike is heavier because of the battery and motor. The bike frame is heavier but the fact you have the motor makes riding an E Bike easy.
