CPD Bangor 1876 and Bangor City Stadium have announced a partnership that ensures the long-term sustainability of the club.
Both the club and the stadium have now agreed on key points to progress with the partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement, CPD Bangor 1876 will:
- Maintain their financial independence under any partnership agreement.
- Retain full autonomy to manage and run their team under any partnership agreement.
- It is important to clarify that Bangor City Stadium has no outstanding debt. However, for the avoidance of doubt, BCS can confirm that CPD Bangor 1876 will not inherit any liabilities, now or in the future, related to the stadium or any other external factors.
These were essential points for CPD Bangor 1876 to ensure their long-term sustainability, and they are are now happy with the proposal put forward.
Both parties can now move forward to finalise the partnership agreement and look forward to working together.
Dr. Glynne Roberts, Bangor 1876 Chairman, said: “We can now move forward to finalise the partnership agreement and we look forward to working with Bangor City Stadium. We will not be commenting any further on this situation until the partnership agreement is agreed and signed.”
