An appeal has been made for empty properties in Bangor that can be used by key workers during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Due of the Coronavirus crisis, many key workers (health and emergency service workers) need a temporary home. To help them find suitable accommodation Menter Môn has set up Ciando – a scheme to identify the locations of all free accommodation for health and emergency workers during these challenging times.
A spokesperson for Ciando said: “We’ve had an amazing response so far, with many of accommodations registered.
“However, we are receiving more and more requests for accommodation in the Bangor area.
“If you have an empty house, cottage, flat, caravan or any other self-contained accommodation, would you like to offer the space FOR FREE for workers who might need it? Let us know if you can help.”
Dioni Holiday Cottages are helping to coordinate the properties, for more information about Ciando please contact louise@dioni.co.uk
Tel. 01341 247 200
