A popular up-and-coming Piri Piri chain famed for its fresh, flame grilled chicken and variety of flavours has opened a new store in Bangor, Gwynedd, offering a vast range of delicious takeaway and dine-in options.
Pepe’s Piri Piri is welcoming customers to its new store in Bangor, Gwynedd, located at 342 High Street, Bangor LL57 1YA which opened on May 1, 2024.
Creating 35 jobs, the store has been proudly opened by POPS Bangor Ltd. Owned by Mr. Md. JAK Raza who has successfully running different award-winning Indian Restaurants Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.
The extensive menu will be offering up a variety of mouth-watering options, with everything from Mexican-inspired burritos and nachos, to salads and burgers and the store’s now somewhat ‘instafamous’ Chick’n’Rice box which has attracted millions of views and rave reviews on social media platforms such as Instagram and Tik Tok. The signature Pepe’s Piri Piri flame-grilled collection of whole, half and quarter chicken, as well as wings and tender strips, are some of the also on the list of most popular menu items.
Pepe’s Piri Piri Head of Franchising, Matt Hart said: “It’s hard to believe that it was just back in 2007 that we opened the first Pepe’s Piri Piri in Watford and the store in Bangor puts us over 180 stores across the UK.

The 342 High Street store will open on 1st of May 2024 from 4pm and regular business hour will be 11am – 11pm Seven days a week.
