North Wales Police have appealed for information after an unknown man was found in the kitchen of a house in Maesgeirchen, Bangor.

The incident occurred on Saturday 25 July at approx 7pm, a woman was watching TV in her lounge in the Llys Geraint area of Maesgeirchen, when she was startled by a man in her kitchen .

The man is described as being white, approx 6 ft tall, with grey hair, and slim build. He wore a long grey coat and carried a brown leather bag. He also wore a face mask and a visor.

The intruder introduced himself as a Doctor from Glanfa Surgery, Bangor and said that he was doing home visits. When the householder told him that they had neither requested a visit from a doctor nor were indeed patients at Glanfa Surgery Surgery, the man has left hurriedly, stating that he had ‘gone to the wrong house’.

Police are also interested in a grey vehicle seen in the area, possibly a Peugeot 306, around the time of the incident.
